How do I recycle my lamps

Lamps are collected in special recycling bins. The special bins are placed in the following selected locations:

  • collection points of affiliated municipalities
  • stores that sell lamps
  • stores of electrical equipment
  • supermarkets

It is important to place lamps in the special bins carefully so that they don't break and without their packaging. In particular, straight lamps must be placed separately at the back side of the special bin.

How do I know which lamps to recycle?

It is easy to recognise which lamps are recycled, as their packaging has the sign of a crossed out bin.

All economy lamps, fluorescent lamps, high or low pressure sodium lamps, high pressure mercury lamps and LED lamps must be recycled.

Incandescent bulbs and halogen lamps are not collected.
